Mike Rainsberger is a native of Falls Church, Virginia and has been a working Jazz musician for over 30 years. He has toured throughout the country and Eastern Europe playing electric and upright bass in all styles of music through musical theatre touring groups, cruise ships and playing with major label recording artists such as Citizen Cope, Tim Eyermann, Meredith Brooks, Pearl Kaufman, Duke Daniels, and David Grohl.

Mike received his Bachelor of Arts from Shenandoah Conservatory of Music and has taught upright and electric bass, music theory and ear training throughout his career.

Mike can teach upright and electric bass, music theory, and beginner guitar and piano.
