Ballet
The SB ARTS Ballet Studio has been serving the city of Falls Church since 2003, giving the youth and adults of the community an introduction to classical ballet. SB ARTS offers students of all abilities the opportunity to become familiar with this classical art form, with programs for children 8 years of age and up.
Where and how to train is an important decision and careful thought must be given to choosing the right school for your child. SB ARTS trains its students in the classical Russian style in compliance with the Vaganova method. The goal of the SB ARTS Ballet Studio is to give interested children and adults a comprehensive education in a comfortable, yet organized atmosphere.
SB ARTS offers the following ballet programs:
Introduction to dance. In this class students will learn basic forms of dance and learn how to understand the music and the rhythm. Class includes basic stretching and floor exercises.
Dress Code for Ballet 1, 2, 3
- Hair in a bun, bangs need to be clipped
- No jewelry except small earrings
- Leotard only in dark colors ( black, dark blue,dark green)
- Pink ballet tights
- Pink ballet shoes with elastics sewn (shoes made of fabric, not leather)
- Black ballet skirt may be worn only for pointe classes, optional
For boys
- Plain white t-shirt
- Black tights
- Black ballet shoes with elastics sewn (shoes made of fabric, not leather)
Dress code for all other youth Ballet and Pointe classes
- Hair in a bun, bangs should be clipped

- Leotard only in dark colors (black, dark blue, dark green)
- Pink ballet tights
- Pink ballet shoes with elastics sewn, (shoes made of fabric, not leather)
- Black ballet skirt may be worn only for pointe classes, optional
Dress code for Adult Ballet Classes
- Leotard is optional- sport or cotton t-shirt with a sport bra ( solid color)
- Leggings - (dark solid color)
- Pink ballet shoes
- Hair in a ponytail or a bun

Andrei Yemelianov
Andrei Yemelianov was born in Ukraine and trained in the Russian Classical Ballet System specializing in Ballet, Partnering, Folk, and Character Dance. His training emphasized professional excellence as well as the individual’s wellbeing by creating a safe atmosphere for students from diverse backgrounds.
Natallia Yemelianova
Natallia Yemelianova is an experienced professional with a degree in Classical Ballet and Choreography from Belarusian State Choreography College. Her education also includes Competitive Ballroom Training. She has 22 years of experience teaching ballet and assisting Ballet Master She is eager to work with students of all skill levels and is committed to nurturing each student to maximize their dance potentials.
